AGP Ms. Reshma Chatterjee ...for the State The petitioner alleges that some unknown persons have constructed a pucca construction by encroaching upon the PWD road thereby causing obstruction to the ingress and egress of the petitioner from his property to the PWD road.

Mr. De, learned AGP files a report of the Inspector in-Charge, Nadanghat Police Station, Purba Bardhaman dated March 24, 2026 which is taken on record. The said report states that upon enquiry from the end of the local police station it was found that one Gopal Sarkar was running a business of sand/stone-chips for more than 30 years and there is a long standing civil dispute between the petitioner and the said Gopal Sarkar. The said Gopal Sarkar has not been impleaded as a party-respondent in this writ petition. The petitioner has also not made any allegation against the said Gopal Sarkar in the

representation but states that some unknown persons have raised a pucca construction by encroaching upon the PWD road.

Faced with such situation, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner prays for a liberty to submit a comprehensive representation before the respondent authorities.

In the light of the submission made by the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner, this writ petition stands disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioner to submit a comprehensive representation before the appropriate authority.

If such a representation is submitted, such authority shall consider and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible.
