1. None appears on behalf of the petitioner on call. No accommodation is sought for.

2. This case pertains to the year 2010. Almost 15 years have already passed.

3. The instant writ petition has been filed by the writ petitioner seeking direction upon the respondent authorities to give an employment to the petitioner for the post of Anganwadi Workers under the Contai Block -II, District - Purba Medinipur, immediately without any further delay with a contention that the petitioner has passed Madhyamik examination and enrolled her name in the employment exchange for employment. The petitioner's name was sent by the local authorities for appointment to the post of Anganwadi Workers under the Contai Block -II, District -Purba Medinipur. Subsequently, that was received by the Government of West Bengal, Department of

Women & Child Development and Social Welfare on 28.01.2010.

4. Considering the nature of prayer and long pendency of this case, this court finds that such prayer is not tenable at this stage.

5. In view of the above facts, the instant writ petition being WPA 4887 of 2010 is dismissed without any order as to costs.

6. Consequently, the connected application, if any, is also, thus, disposed of.

7. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

8. All parties shall act in terms of the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

9. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties taking all legal formalities.
