Admittedly, the petitioner's father is a Central Government employee who worked under the Survey of India/respondent no.2. The petitioner has prayed for sanction of pension and arrears of retiral benefits of her deceased father in her favour.

Mr. Bhattacharya, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent no.6 submits that the appropriate tribunal under the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 is the authority for consideration of the petitioner's prayer.

In such view of the matter, this Court dismisses WPA 6623 of 2023.

The petitioner will be at liberty to approach the appropriate tribunal under the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985, if so advised, on the self-same cause of action.

Since no affidavits have been directed to be exchanged in the writ petition, all the allegations contained therein are deemed not to have been admitted by the parties.

All parties shall act on the server copies of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Hon'ble Court.
