AGP Mr. Soumitra Bandyopadhyay Mr. Priyabrata Batabyal ... for the State Mr. Subhabrata Basu, learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that the award list in respect of acquisition of the land-in-question under Mouza Reckjoani, J.L. No.13 under Police Station Rajarhat has not been handed over to the petitioner. He seeks for appropriate order directing respondent-authorities to hand over the same.

Mr. Chandi Charan De, learned Additional Government Pleader submits that by letter dated 16th September, 2022 (Annexure P3 to the writ petition), the petitioner was requested to collect photocopy of the award list in connection with the acquisition. The respondent no.3, the Special Land Acquisition Officer, North 24Parganas is ready and willing to hand over photocopy of

the award list to the petitioner in terms of the aforesaid letter.

Having heard the learned Advocates for the respective parties, the Special Land Acquisition Officer, respondent no.3 is directed to hand over photocopy of the award list to the petitioner after deposit of requisite fee in respect of the acquisition made in L.A. Case No.4/95 of 98-99 and L.A. Case No.4/140 of 98-99, within a period of four weeks from conclusion of General Elections, 2024, upon communication.

Learned Advocate for the petitioner is directed to communicate this order to the Special Land Acquisition Officer, respondent no.3.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition WPA 6634 of 2023 is disposed of.

All connected applications, if any, stand disposed of.

There will be, however, no order as to costs. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

All concerned parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of necessary legal formalities.
