The petitioner has been charged under Sections 6 and 10 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012. We have seen the statement of the victim girl recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. We have considered the other materials on record.

We are told that charge-sheet has been submitted. Given the nature and gravity of the offence that the petitioner has been charged with and the incriminating material that is on record, we are not inclined to allow the application for bail. Accordingly, the application for bail being C.R.M. 2616 of 2021 is dismissed.
