The grievance of the petitioner is that even though he performed the work in accordance with the work orders issued in his favour by the Anandapur Gram Panchayat, payment has not been made to him.

It appears from the submission made on behalf of the petitioner that the bills in respect of the work done by the petitioner have not been raised by him. However, the petitioner has annexed copy of letters dated March 26, 2018 seeking payment in respect of the work done. None appears on behalf of the Panchayat.

The writ petition is disposed of by granting leave to the petitioner to approach the Pradhan of the Anandapur Gram Panchayat with all necessary

documents in support of the work done by him pursuant to work orders issued in his favour. In the event, such an application is made by the petitioner along with the supporting documents, then steps shall be taken by the respondent no. 9, the Pradhan of the Gram Panchayat to consider the same in accordance with the relevant rules. WPA 7424 of 2021 stands disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties, after completion of all legal formalities.
