Copy of the same handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner in Court today. It appears from the submissions made on behalf of both the parties that the petitioner seeks his retirement benefits on grade pay of Rs.2,900/-. The authority calculated his dues on grade pay of Rs.2,600/-.

The petitioner is also aggrieved by the quantum of gratuity and interest paid on account of the delayed payment of his terminal dues.

Whether the petitioner was paid the terminal benefits upon proper grade pay or not and whether the quantum of payment was in accordance with the proper scale of pay cannot be decided in the contempt application.

In view of the above, the instant contempt application stands disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum in accordance with law for redressal of his grievances. The contempt application stands disposed of.
