It is submitted on behalf of the WBSEDCL that a cheque for Rs.53,329/- has been handed over to the petitioner. This fact is admitted by the petitioner.

In view of the subsequent events which have transpired after filing of the writ petition i.e. the above payments nothing further survives in this proceeding, WPA 6631 of 2026 stands dismissed. 3.

Liberty is granted to the petitioner to file a fresh suit for any other monetary claim.

The question of the validity of the order passed by the Ombudsman dated 1 September 2015 is not gone into.
