The present writ petition has been preferred alleging inaction on the part of the police authorities to recover the petitioner's daughter, who went missing from her matrimonial house on and from 19th January, 2025. Mr. Chowdhury, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that in spite of repeated representations, the police authorities have not taken any steps.

Mr. Mukherjee, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, however, appearing for the State submits that on the basis of the complaint lodged, all necessary steps were taken by the police authorities and the petitioner's daughter has already been recovered and she is willingly residing with the respondent no. 10 within the jurisdiction of Kandi Police Station in the district of Murshidabad. Let the documents, as produced, be kept on record.

As the petitioner's daughter has already been recovered, no further interference is called for in the

present habeas corpus writ petition and the same is, accordingly, disposed of.
