Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that two of the petitioners are senior citizens. Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the postmortem report and to the statement of the neighbours recorded under Section 161 of the Criminal Procedure Code.

home of the victim. Petitioner no. 1 is the husband of the victim while the other two petitioners are the parents-in-law of the victim. Neighbours implicate all the petitioners before us in meting out both physical and mental torture on the victim for demand of dowry. Death occurred at the matrimonial home within two years of marriage.

Considering such aspects of the matter, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected. CRM (A) 909 of 2024 is dismissed.
