This is an application for restoration of the writ petition being WPA. 5268 of 2020. By an order dated November 22, 2022, the writ petition was dismissed for default.

Upon perusing the grounds stated in paragraphs 3 to 5 of the said application, this Court is of the view that the petitioner was prevented by sufficient cause from attending the Court, when the writ petition was taken up for hearing. Accordingly, CAN 1 of 2022 is allowed and disposed of. The writ petition is restored to its original file and number.

Let the writ petition being WPA 5268 of 2020 appear in the monthly combined list of March, 2023 under the heading Upgraded Motion.
