Petitioner has preferred the present revisional application for expeditious disposal of the case being C-355 of 2019 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 3rd Court, Barrackpore. Learned advocate submits that pursuant to the present application being preferred before this Court the examination of the accused under Section 251 of the Code of Criminal Procedure has already been completed and date has been fixed for evidence. The next date is fixed on 18th December, 2023.

Learned Judicial Magistrate, 3rd Court, Barrackpore is directed to fix at least one date in a month for the purposes of this case. Efforts be taken so that the prosecution evidence is completed by 30th June, 2024. The examination under Section 313 of the Code of Criminal Procedure be completed by 31st July, 2024. Defence be granted three months' time for adducing defence evidence. Learned trial court is directed to pronounce its verdict by 31st December, 2024.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 1002 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
