1. Petitioner contends co-accused is on bail. He prays for bail.

2. Learned lawyer for the State submits petitioner had shot at the victim. He does not stand on the same footing with the coaccused who are on bail.

3. Learned lawyer for the de facto complainant submits bail prayer of the petitioner was rejected in July 2023.

4. We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner had shot at the victim who suffered gunshot injuries. He does not stand on the same footing with co-accused who are on bail. Bail prayer of the petitioner was rejected earlier on merits.

5. Under such circumstances we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, prayer for bail is rejected.

7. Trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date.
