It appears from the submissions made on behalf of the parties that there is an issue with regard to the ownership of the land in question where the alleged construction has been raised by the Birbhum Zilla Parishad.

The petitioner has annexed various documents in support of his ownership.

The Court is of the opinion that the issue of ownership is to be decided by a competent civil court and not by the Court in the writ jurisdiction. In view of the above, it will be open for the petitioner to agitate the issue of ownership before the competent civil forum.

No relief can be granted to the petitioner in the instant writ petition.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
