The petitioner seeks an economically weaker section (EWS) certificate. The petitioner claims to have made an application on September 30, 2024 for obtaining the EWS certificate and alleges that the same has not been provided to her.

Learned counsel for the State has obtained instruction from the Additional District Magistrate (G), Paschim Medinipur wherefrom it appears that the application filed by the petitioner allegedly dated September 30, 2024 was never received in the office of the respondent authorities.

Admittedly, there is no proof of service of the application dated September 30, 2024. The ADM(G) has forwarded instruction that presently EWS certificate may be obtained online through OSCAR portal in terms of the Government Order dated July 10, 2024 being No.1093-BCW/MR52/2019. 4.

In view thereof, the instant writ petition stands disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to apply for obtaining the EWS certificate online

through OSCAR portal.

Affidavit of service filed in Court be taken on record.

All parties are to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
