Mr. Dhar, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner makes a very simple prayer for direction upon the Commissioner of Income Tax appeals-7 concerned for expeditious disposal of the appeal in question which has been filed on 24th January, 2020 which is pending before him against the assessment order dated 28th December, 2019 under Section 144 of the Income Tax Act, 1961. Considering the submission of the parties, this writ petition is disposed of by requesting the Commissioner of Income Tax Appeals-7 /respondent No.2 to expeditiously dispose of the aforesaid appeal preferably within two months and after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner or his authorized representative.

WPA No.5286 of 2020 is disposed of.
