The petitioner complains that his signature has been forged and a flat at holding No.8/1, Banerjee Para Lane, Kolkata - 700 031 has been sold and transferred to third parties.

There are multiple complaints in respect of the said property on petition filed by one Prakash Mondal and one Pulak Mondal.

The said FIRs are Kasba Police Station Case No. 354 of 2020 dated 9th September, 2020, FIR No. 387 of 2020 dated 14th October, 2020 and FIR No. 304 of 2022 dated 25th September, 2022 have been registered. Charge-sheet has been filed in respect of FIR No. 354 of 2020 dated 9th September, 2020.

It is ordered that investigation of the other three FIRs be completed as expeditiously as possible, preferably within three months from date.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

The instructions in the form of report of Officerin-charge, Kasba Police Station dated 2nd December, 2022 addressed to the State Advocate is taken on record.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
