18.07.2022 Serial no.44 Dd CRAN 2 of 2022 in CRM 1991 of 2018 In Re : CRAN 2 of 2022 (An application for relaxation of condition of Anticipatory bail) In the matter of : Banshari Mohan Pramanik ... ... Petitioner Mr. Mridul Kanti Sasmal, Advocate ... ... For the Petitioner Mr. Aniket Mitra, Advocate ... ...For the State Petitioner prays for relaxation of the condition of anticipatory bail.
Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the police filed charge sheet and, therefore, condition of the order granting anticipatory bail requiring the petitioner not to operate the relevant bank account or authorize the receipt of any payment of the money held therein till the completion of the investigation be waived.
The trial is yet to be concluded.
There is an allegation of cheating. At the time when the order of anticipatory bail was granted, the police took steps to freeze the bank account.
In such circumstances, we find no reason to waive such condition of the order granting anticipatory bail.
CRAN 2 of 2022 in CRM 1991 of 2018 is dismissed. (Debangsu Basak, J.) (Bibhas Ranjan De, J.)
