The affidavit-of-service filed by learned Advocate for the petitioner in Court today be taken on record. The petitioner seeks enforcement of an Award dated 15th October, 2020 passed by the Joint Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Co-operation Directorate, Central Zone, Kolkata.

It is now well settled that Arbitration Award even under the W.B.C.S. Rules, 2011 cannot be enforced through a Writ Court.

Hence, the instant writ petition must fail and is hereby dismissed.

There will be no order as to costs.
