In pursuance of the direction passed by this Court dated 18.04.2024, the SI of Police, Uluberia PS, HRD submitted a report stating that administrative notice was served upon the respondent No. 2. But the notices could not be served upon the appellant and the respondent No. 1, as they died during the pendency of this appeal on 03.12.1999 and 14.12.3011.

As the sole appellant has already been expired, the instant appeal is abated against him.

Accordingly, the appeal being CRA 395 of 1991 stands disposed of as abated.
