Heard both the parties.

On perusal of the prayers made in the writ petition it appears that the petitioners have asked for the reliefs of directing the respondent No.2 to adjust the demand amount in question out of the total payment of the amount in question recorded in Adjudication Order No. 52/COMMR/ST-I/KOL/2015-16.

Considering the submission of the parties this writ petition is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioners to make a representation with regard to the reliefs asked for in prayer (a) of this writ petition before the respondent No.2 within two weeks from date and if such representation is made, the respondent shall consider and dispose of the same by passing a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners or its authorised representative within eight weeks

from such date and shall communicate its decision to the petitioners within one week thereafter.

Let it be recorded that this court has not gone into the merits of the case and the respondent concerned while disposing of the representation will act strictly in accordance with law.

WPA 5294 of 2020 is disposed of.
