The petitioner had participated in the recruitment process 2022 initiated by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education for appointment of Assistant Teachers in Primary Schools. The petitioner is alleging that though he is eligible, but was not given the appointment.
The petitioner has a pending representation before the Secretary, West Bengal Board of Primary Education, the respondent no. 5 herein, praying that the marks secured by him in the interview and aptitude test be disclosed to him.
Mr. Banerjee, learned counsel for the Board submits that the respondent no. 5 would consider the said representation in accordance with law.
The respondent no. 5 is directed to consider the said representation of the petitioner dated February 10, 2024, being Annexure - 'P5' appearing at page 34 to the writ petition expeditiously, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order. It is made clear this Court has not gone into the merit of the claim of the petitioner, which the respondent no.5 shall decide in accordance with law.
No affidavit since has been invited, all allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents. W.P.A. 7073 of 2024 is disposed of with the above terms and observations without any order as to costs.
