Pal ... for the State Pursuant to the order dated 13th March, 2024 the writ petition is taken up for consideration in presence of the learned advocates representing the parties.

Learned advocate representing Panihati Cooperative Bank Limited has produced documents which the bank authority was required to supply to the petitioner in terms of the letter dated 29th October, 2015 which is at page 12 of the writ petition. Copy of these documents excepting the document which has been indicated against serial no. 2 in the Memo dated 29th October, 2015 have been made over to the learned advocate representing the petitioner today during course of hearing. The documents submitted on behalf of the Bank authority before this Court are taken on record.

Learned advocate representing the petitioner has expressed his willingness to settle the issue with the bank relating to closure of loan account. Mr. Sureka, learned advocate representing the respondent no. 6, submits that there is scheme for one time settlement of the issue in connection with loan account and the petitioner can avail of the benefit of such scheme by approaching the bank authority.

In view of the submission made on behalf of respondent no.

and supply of necessary documents to the learned advocate representing the petitioner the writ petition is disposed of by granting leave to the petitioner to approach the bank authority for settling the issue on taking benefit of one time settlement scheme. If approach is made by the petitioner to the concerned authority of Panihati Co-operative Bank Limited for one time settlement the bank authority shall also make an endeavour to settle the issue.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
