Re: CAN 1 of 2022 The General Manager, South Eastern Railway, the alleged contemnor, has filed this application. In this application, a prayer is made for extending the time by eight weeks to comply with the order passed by this Court keeping in view that the Central Administrative Tribunal in O.A. No.495 of 2022 has stayed the Physical Efficiency Test vide order dated 25th March, 2022. There has been a culpable negligence on the part of the alleged contemnor in implementing the order dated 16th August, 2021. On one pretext or the other, the implementation has been delayed. We extend the time to

comply with the order dated 16th August, 2021 peremptorily by two weeks from date, failing which, we shall be constrained to issue rule against the alleged contemnor.

Accordingly, the application being CAN 1 of 2022 stands disposed of.

The applications being CAN 2 of 2022 and CAN 3 of 2022 are, accordingly, disallowed and dismissed. The matter stands adjourned till 19th May, 2022. (Hiranmay Bhattacharyya, J.) (Soumen Sen, J.)
