Mr. Bari being assisted by Mr. Imtizj Uddin, is representing the writ petitioner, whereas no one is representing the respondents in this case.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners made an innocuous prayer for an order of this Court directing the respondent no. 2 to consider the petitioners' prayer vide letter dated July 31, 2008. Matter relates to non-compliance of the Government Notification dated August 9, 2099 issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India regarding payment of enhanced Dearness Allowance to the teachers, by the concerned respondent authority. Petitioners' case is that they having complied with the necessary eligibility criteria, are to be benefited under the said notification, as mentioned above. Hence, they made representation dated July 31, 2008.

Upon such hearing, the respondent no. 2 shall pass a reasoned order, disposing of the petitioner's prayer in the said representation dated July 31, 2008, within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of copy of this order.

With these directions, this writ petition is disposed of.
