1. The petitioners have two-fold prayers in the writ petition. First, he seeks to become a member of the respondent no. 2, Co-operative Society.

Second, he also seeks appointment on compassionate ground as a labourer in the respondent Society.

2. In so far as the first prayer is concerned, the Board of the Co-operative Societies has rejected his prayer for membership, thus disabling him from seeking appointment on compassionate ground.

3. The report filed by the respondent no. 2 dated April, 30, 2025, pursuant to the order of April 3, 2025 is kept on record.

4. A seemingly private dispute, brought to the notice of the Court, by way of a writ petition, has

practically reached its end. However, as a last chance, the petitioners are given liberty to approach the concerned Registrar, Co-operative Societies, Government of India, by way of an appropriate representation, to be made within a period of two weeks from date.

5. The concerned Registrar will consider such representation and dispose of the same within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the representation, by passing a reasoned order which will be duly communicated to the petitioner.

6. Since I have not gone into the merits of the matter, all points are kept open to be decided by the concerned Registrar of the Co-operative Societies.

7. The writ petition is, thus, disposed of with the aforestated directions.

8. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. 9.Since no affidavit has been called for, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed to be denied.

10.Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on usual undertaking.
