The present writ petition was preferred for demolishing the wall and the obstacles over the pathway and the same was to be done at the behest of the police authorities.

As none appears on behalf of the State, Mr.

Anirban Datta, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears for the State, is directed to represent the State. His appointment may be regularised by the concerned authorities.

Having regard to the nature of the prayer advanced, I am of the opinion that the same is exclusive domain of the civil court having jurisdiction. This Court will not entertain such prayer. If the civil court passes necessary directions upon the police authorities, police authorities would respect, obey and implement such order. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 7088 of 2024 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
