It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he has been falsely implicated in the instant case. Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and submits that the victim was tortured by the petitioner and other in laws over dowry and committed suicide within two months of marriage.

We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses disclose involvement of the petitioner in torturing the victim housewife who committed suicide within two months of marriage. In view of the gravity of the offence, we are of the opinion that this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected.
