Petitioner prays for bail.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 47 days. He points out that there is a criminal case against the defacto complainant also. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the petitioner is involved in a racket where, unsuspecting members of the public are lured with a job on payment of money. Ultimately such person is not provided the job.

Considering the fact that the police are yet to submit the charge-sheet and considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein as transpiring from the materials in the case diary, we are unable to enlarge the petitioner on bail.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. C.R.M. (DB) 949 of 2022 is dismissed.
