Petitioner is in custody for 137 days. He submits he has been falsely implicated. He prays for bail.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the bail prayer. We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses show housewife was tortured over demands of dowry and committed suicide within five months of marriage. Petitioner is the husband of the housewife.

Under such circumstances, we are of the opinion this is not a fit case to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
