By the present writ petition, the petitioner seeks for a direction upon the respondents to pay the outstanding amount of Rs. 2,00,000/- in terms of the supply order dated 12th December, 2018 (Annexure P-1 of the writ petition).

The petitioner's case is that he participated in the bid and has executed the work in terms of the work order issued in his favour. There is outstanding amount of Rs. 2,00,000/- which has not been disbursed as yet despite several representations being made. Hence this writ petition.

Learned advocate for the petitioner seeks for a specific direction for disbursement of the aforesaid

amount in favour of the petitioner by the respondent authorities.

Learned advocate for the State, as per instruction, submits that the amount of Rs. 2,00,000/- is outstanding since the fund is not available. He files written instruction, which is taken on record. Upon hearing learned advocates for the respective parties, it is admitted position that amount of Rs. 2,00,000/- is outstanding.

Accordingly, the respondent no.

5, Block Development Officer and Program Officer under MGNREGA, Harirampur, Dakshin Dinajpur is directed to take steps for disbursement of outstanding amount of Rs. 2,00,000/- in favour of the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order.

Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to communicate this order to respondent no.5, Block Development Officer and Program Officer under MGNREGA, Harirampur, Dakshin Dinajpur, for necessary compliance.

With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition being WPA 6841 of 2025 is disposed of.

All connected applications, if any, stand disposed of.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

All concerned parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of all necessary legal formalities.
