Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that, there is a delay of 18 days in the lodgment of the First Information Report. There was an incident of assault due to disputes between neighbours.
There victim suffered fracture of the right shoulder with a deep cut injury on the scalp.
The injured implicate the petitioners as some of the assailants.
Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioners in the incident, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 1165 of 2023 is dismissed.
