Record submitted by the learned advocate for the State reflects that the supplementary charge-sheet has been submitted before the jurisdictional court. Sonarpur P. S. Case No. 1448 of 2018 originated on 29.08.2018 and there were certain deficiencies on the one hand and on the other hand there is no progress in the case. As the supplementary chargesheet has been submitted and the next date is fixed on 20-08-2024, I direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, 2nd court, Baruipur to reconsider the charges, if any, on the next date so fixed after supply of copies to the accused persons within a fortnight.

Thereafter, on and from the month of November, 2024, the learned Judicial Magistrate, 2nd court, Alipore if after consideration of charges is of the opinion that the trial of the case is to be progressed would fix one date in a month for the purpose of the present case so that the trial can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

No unnecessary adjournments be granted to any of the parties. Necessary communication be made to the Inspector-in-Charge, Sonarpur PS, in case a witness is not available on the date fixed so that the Inspector-in-Charge,

Sonarpur PS will take steps to ensure the availability of the witnesses on the date so fixed or submit a report regarding the non-availability of the witnesses. The Public Prosecutor appearing in the case would produce the materials, documents and exhibits on the dates fixed for examination of the witnesses concerned. The trial of the case should proceed in spite of any resolution of the local Bar and the participating advocates will not stall the proceedings in spite of such resolution.

All stake-holders would cooperate with the learned trial court to conclude the trial at the earliest.

With the aforesaid observations, the present revisional application being CRR 1048 of 2024 is disposed of.

. The Investigating Officer of the Case is present before this court. His further appearance before this court is dispensed with. Pending any other applications are disposed of.
