1. None appears on behalf of the petitioner on call. No accommodation is sought for.
2. Despite directions of this court, no affidavit-inopposition as well as affidavit-in-reply filed by the parties as yet.
3. This case pertains to the year 2010. Almost 15 years have already passed.
4. The instant writ petition has been filed by the writ petitioner seeking direction upon the District Project Officer, Sarba Siksha Mission, Uttar Dinajpur being memo no.
72/1(5)/La/SSM-UD dated 02.02.2010 being Annexure P-2 of the writ application, to approve panel for appointment to the post of Para Teacher in Bengali as per interview held on 04.12.2008 by the Selection Committee within 2 weeks from the date of communication of the order.
5. Considering the nature of prayer and long pendency of this case, this court finds that the prayer of the petitioner is not tenable at this stage. Panel prepared in the year 2008 has become invalid due to efflux of time.
6. In view of the above facts, the instant writ petition being WPA 4997 of 2010 is dismissed without any order as to costs.
7. Consequently, the connected application, if any, is also, thus, disposed of.
8. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
9. All parties shall act in terms of the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
10. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties taking all legal formalities.
