Halder, Mr. Indranil Halder ...for the Petitioner Mr. Soumyajit Chakraborty ...for WBSEDCL It is the grievance of the petitioner that, although she 24-04-2025 AKG Ct. 15 deposited the amount as quoted by the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) for the purpose of obtaining an electricity connection to her submersible pump set on August 2, 2023, WBSEDCL has not, to date, effectuated the connection.

The learned advocate appearing on behalf of WBSEDCL submits that, due to the ongoing harvesting season, the connection could not be effected. It is further submitted that the connection may be provided immediately after the harvesting season.

In view of the above, WBSEDCL is directed to effect the electricity connection to the petitioner's submersible pump set within a period of two months from the date of communication of this order.

Accordingly, WPA 6575 of 2025 is disposed of. Urgent certified website copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
