Vide order dated 21st April, 2020 CRAN 1418 of 2020 in connection with CRM 2990 of 2020 was disposed of and the petitioner was enlarged on interim bail for a period of six months upon certain conditions. It is submitted by Mr. Maitra that the aforesaid order dated 21st April, 2020 is self-contradictory because when an application for bail along with connected application was disposed of the accused ought to have been released on bail and not on interim bail.

I have no reason to take different view of the matter under the facts and circumstances of this case with regard to the order dated 21st April, 2020.

Interim bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 21st April, 2020 be confirmed on some terms and conditions.

The instant application being CRAN 2 of 2021 is, thus, disposed of.
