The petitioner has filed the present application praying for a direction upon the respondent no.3 for release of payment of wages amounting to Rs.1, 53,921/- in connection with the deployment of security guards by the petitioner to the authorities.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that time and again the petitioner has made several representations since the month of March, 2021 till September in spite of receipt of the representation, neither the respondents have denied the claim of the petitioner nor have released the said amount/.

He further submits that the last representation was made by the petitioner on 13th September, 2024 and the same is pending before the authority and he

prays for a direction upon the authorities i.e. the Executive Engineer for consideration of the representation and for release of the amount due. Per contra, learned advocate appearing for the State respondents submits that the work order was completed in the month of March, 2021 and the petitioner has filed the writ petition in the year 2025. He submits that the claim of the petitioner is barred by limitation and as such the same is liable to be dismissed.

This Court finds that the petitioner was awarded the tender by the respondent no. 3 for deployment of security guards in different establishment. As per the work order was issued by the Executive Engineer, the petitioner has deployed security guards from time to time and raised the bills with regard to the authorities for deployment of security guards. He submits that an amount of Rs. 1, 53, 921/- is due and pending against the respondent authorities but the same has not been paid.

This Court finds that the tender was completed on 8th March, 2021. Subsequently, though the petitioner had made several representations but has not approached before this Court within the limitation period of three years. Now after the period of more than

four years, the petitioner has filed the present application.

Considering the above this Court finds that the writ application filed by the petitioner is barred by limitation and accordingly, the same is dismissed. (Krishna Rao J.)
