The petitioner is a self help group and supplied chicks and ducklings in several blocks of the district in terms of the order passed by the concerned department. Though the petitioner was assured payment by the authority and submitted bills of Rs.1,54,259/- and Rs.28,250/-, the said amounts have not been disbursed as yet. He submitted a representation before the concerned authority in this regard on 15th January, 2024 and seeks consideration of the same.

In view of the above, the Block Livestock Development Officer, Krishnanagar 2, being the 5th respondent herein, is directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 15th January, 2024 within four weeks from the date of communication of the order upon granting reasonable opportunity of hearing to all concerned including the petitioner, in accordance with law.

In the event the 5th respondent arrives at a decision in favour of the petitioner, necessary consequential steps be taken at the earliest.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to have been admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
