None appears for the parties.

In this Public Interest Litigation (in short 'PIL') the petitioner prayed that licence of liquor shop be not given for opening a liquor shop in Sholua village at District - Nadia. But it is seen that the petitioner's representation(Annexure 'P-1') preferred in this regard.

The petitioner has not served the respondent which is evident from the report of the Assistant Registrar VIII (In-charge) dated 12th April, 2023. In this backdrop, we deem it proper to dispose of this petition by giving liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the respondent no.2 along with a copy of this order if his present grievance is still subsisting.

In that event, the respondent no.2 shall consider and decide it in accordance with law within 60 days from the date of receipt of such representation giving an opportunity of hearing to the affected parties.

The PIL is disposed of without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case.
