Petitioners have approached this Court and submit that they are the Secretary and President of Eid Utsab Mela Committee (hereinafter referred to as "Mela Committee"). Their grievance is that one Lakhan Mondal who is not associated with the Mela Committee applied in the name of said Mela Committee and the Officer-in-Charge, Bhagwangola Police Station has allowed the representation of the said Lakhan Mondal.

In view of the permission granted to Lakhan Mondal, the Officer-in-Charge, Bhagwangola Police Station will revisit as to whether Lakhan Mondal is associated with the Mela Committee or the present petitioners being Humayan Kabir and Kumar Bahalia are the portfolio holders of the said Mela Committee and thereafter take a decision who would be in a better position to organize the said Mela.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 6528 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
