After taking into consideration the statement of the victim under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and after considering the materials on record implicating the petitioner to the commission of alleged offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner in this case.

Since the charges have already been framed and the statutes require that the trial has to be completed within one year, we direct the learned Special Judge, POCSO Court to conclude the proceedings as early as possible preferably within one year from the date of communication of this order by either of the parties without granting unnecessary adjournments. Accordingly, the application for bail being CRM 3037 of 2020 is rejected.
