The present petitioners approached this Court in respect of warrant of arrest issued by learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Murshidabad in connection with Jalangi Police Station Case No. 412 of 2023 dated 11.12.2023. I find from the report so submitted on behalf of the State that the present petitioners were on ad interim bail. However, for their non-appearance, their ad interim bail was cancelled and warrant of arrest was issued against them by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Murshidabad. Having considered the fact that the petitioners are ladies and dependent on others and having no knowledge regarding the court proceedings, a single opportunity is granted to the petitioners to appear before the court and cooperate with the court proceedings. Accordingly, if the present petitioners viz. Mehanegar Bibi @ Mehenegar Bibi @ Mehennagar Bibi and Sirina Bibi appear before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Murshidabad by 10.05.2024, they
may be allowed to continue on the same bail and bond and the earlier order of warrant of arrest so issued be recalled. In case the petitioner do not appear or surrender on or before 10.05.2024, the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Murshidabad would be at liberty on the next working day so fixed to resort to harsher process of law by adhering to the provisions of Section 82 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 1060 of 2024 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.
