During the pendency of the present writ petition notice was served upon the petitioners intimating that the enquiry in respect of the application for FPS vacancy at Kankra Uposasthya Kendra will be conducted on 11th May, 2022 at the proposed shop room-cum-godown site.

The petitioners were requested to remain present at the aforesaid venue on the scheduled date with the original copies of all required corroborative documents as per provisions of Control Order, 2013.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners were present at the venue on the scheduled date and the enquiry was duly conducted. The fate of the enquiry is yet to be intimated to the petitioners.

As it appears that the respondents have already conducted an enquiry, it is expected that necessary steps shall be taken to conclude the process in accordance with the Control Order, 2013.

The Sub-Divisional Controller, Food and Supply, Kharagpur is directed to communicate the petitioners the fate of their application at the earliest but positively within a period of six weeks hereof.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

The notice directing the petitioners to remain present for enquiry on 11th May, 2022 be retained with the records.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
