Petitioner Mr. Milon Mukherjee, Mr. Soumya Basu Roy Chowdhuri ...For the Petitioner Mr. Ranabir Roy Chowdhury, Mr. Sandip Chakraborty ...For the State The petitioner has filed this application for quashing of a proceeding being Berhampore Police Station Case No. 620 of 2020 dated June 29, 2020, wherein the charge sheet has been submitted under Sections 376/370/372/373/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, along with Sections 3/4/5/7 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1986, Sections 4/8/12/17 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, and Section 75 of the Juvenile Justice Act, 2015 against the petitioner.

During the course of the hearing, the State submits that further investigation in terms of Section 173 (8) Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 is being carried out. Mr. Milon Mukherjee, learned senior advocate, does not press this application in view of the said fact. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the outcome of such further investigation, he will be at liberty to approach this Court for challenging the same.

The revisional application being CRR 795 of 2021 is dismissed as not pressed.
