The grievance of the petitioner is directed against an electricity connection being granted for the submersible pump being operated by the private respondent.

It is submitted by the petitioner that despite having filed a representation as far back as on 02.03.2026, the respondent authorities and no particularly the concerned Station Manager being the respondent no. 5 have taken no steps in the matter.

On behalf of the Station Manager, it is submitted that they have no objection in disposing of the representation in accordance with law.

On behalf of the State, it is submitted that there is gross suppression and misrepresentation of the true and correct facts of the case. The certificate relied on by the petitioner is in respect of Plot No. 6660 whereas the averment of the petitioner in the writ petition is that the submersible pump has been installed in LR Dag No. 6563. It is thus submitted that in view of the deliberate misrepresentation of the petitioner, the instant writ petition be dismissed.

In view of the gross suppression and distortion of the true and correct facts of the instant case, the petitioner in prevented from seeking any discretionary relief from the Writ Court. The facts of the case demonstrate that the petitioner has approached the Court with unclean hands and there has been gross suppression and misrepresentation.

In such circumstances, WPA 6800 of 2026 stands dismissed.

However, there shall be no order as to costs. (RAVI KRISHAN KAPUR, J.)
