The State of West Bengal & Ors.
(AD 73) (S. Banerjee) Ms. Sabita Khutia (Bhunya) ... for the petitioner Let the affidavit of service filed in court today be kept with the record.
The matter relates to conversion from CPF to GPF. The petitioner refunded all the amount as was required under the law for such conversion. The petitioner has got the PPO but the benefit has been given from the date of refund of the money but not from the date of retirement.
I direct the respondent no. 4 to consider the case of the petitioner after giving her an opportunity of hearing within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order and to pass a reasoned order and if it goes in favour of the petitioner, to take step immediately thereafter in favour of the petitioner. The reasoned order is to be communicated to the petitioner by one week from the date of passing of the reasoned order which should not be later than seven days from the date of the hearing.
With this observation and direction, this writ application is disposed of.
