Report in the form of affidavit has been filed by the respondent no.3, Vice Chancellor, University of Calcutta. No one is appearing for the petitioners to prosecute this petition but learned counsel appearing for the respondent no.4, the University Grants Commission, Eastern Regional Office has submitted that the UGC can duly look into and make an enquiry in respect of the allegation against the respondent no.2, college. Hence, we dispose of the present petition permitting the respondent no.4, UGC to make an enquiry in respect of the allegations made in the petition and take

action in accordance with law against the respondent no.2, college.
