Petitioner seeks anticipatory bail.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that one of the accused was granted bail by the jurisdictional Court.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the materials in the case diary. He submits that the petitioner is involved in a racket of selling false lottery tickets to the members of the public. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein in selling false lottery tickets to the members of the public, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The application for anticipatory bail, being CRM (A) 1683 of 2022, is rejected.
