Heard learned counsels for the parties.

The petitioner is in custody for about a year and prays for bail.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer. It appears that the petitioner has been identified as one of the members of the gang who allegedly committed the offence.

Considering the material on record and prima facie involvement of the petitioner in the alleged offence, prayer for bail is rejected at this stage.

The application for bail is thus disposed of. Case diary be returned.
