Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has shown good ground to explain the delay including the orders passed by the Supreme Court in Suo Motu writ petition extending the period of limitation in the General and Special Laws from 15th March, 2020 till 28th February, 2022.

CAN 01 of 2021 is hence allowed by condoning the delay.

In Re: CAN/2/2021 The application being CAN/2/2021 which is an application for substitution of two legal representatives of Smritikana Mukherjee being daughter and son

respectively of the deceased Smritikana Mukherjee, is also allowed. Moumita Mohonta and Sumanta Mukherjee shall be substituted as the applicant Nos. 5 and 6 in the contempt petition.

CAN 02 of 2021 is allowed and disposed of.
